VIMEN celebrates the expressive beauty of natural rattan and the craftsmanship of woven form. Individual strands are shaped and interlaced into sculptural structures, allowing the material itself to define the character of each fixture. The open weave creates a constantly changing relationship between light and shadow. Illumination passes through the rhythmic lattice, revealing the construction of the shade while casting delicate patterns into the surrounding space. What begins as a functional structure becomes part of the lighting experience. Natural variations in tone, texture, and weave give every piece its own character. Rather than seeking absolute uniformity, VIMEN embraces these differences as part of the authenticity of the material. Across pendants, ceiling lights, and wall fixtures, the collection explores rattan through different scales and geometries — from intimate forms to large sculptural statements. Each design maintains a sense of visual lightness, even at substantial dimensions. VIMEN is where material, craft, and illumination become inseparable — natural fibers transformed into architecture for light.
